The poppy seed Danish, a classic for Deutschland, tastes as wonderful as those made in Germany. It is absolutely delicious. There are also almond-filled Danish, though this examiner opts for the poppy seeds.

And the fruit Danishes, well, just to-die-for. The lightly-sweetened cheese filling adds richness and creaminess to the pastry. A gentle brushing of the sugar glaze rounds out the flavors.
