'A Taste of Albany' lining up participants

"A Taste of Albany" has been set for Thursday, May 2, at the New York State Museum's Terrace Gallery in downtown Albany.

Planners say the event will be "a culinary showcase of more than 30 Capital Region restaurants and chefs," and will include live entertainment, auctions and networking with an estimated 500 guests.

Pricing shows the demographic the organizers are shooting for -- $70 unless you're under 30, in which case the price drops to $60. Honorary Committee membership is $150. Tickets are available online.
