Looking for something different to do this Labor Day Weekend that involves a little international flair here at home in Los Angeles and includes some great wine. There are a couple of events that will provide you with just that.
Come participate in the African Gourmet Food and Wine Festival in Culver City on Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Learn about the cuisine and wines of African in addition to the heritage of this country through the art, dance and music that will be presented at this event.
The festival will feature wines from some of the great regions of South Africa. This will be a great opportunity to get familiar with the wines from this part of the world.
Now if you are looking for something a little more intimate with a sit down dinner, consider one of three wine dinners available with the Backsberg Estate Cellars in Paarl, South African. Simon Back, the sales marking director for Backsberg will be introducing his families’ wines at these dinners.
