This coming Monday, June 2, Bostonians have a very special opportunity. A Taste of Taiwan, a five course meal for $35 a head from a group of Taiwanese chefs that includes one especially acclaimed for his rendition of the country's national dish, a Beef Noodle Soup said to be similar to the Japanese Ramen soup.
The event takes place at Shojo in Chinatown at 9A Tyler St. The dinner, made by the Taiwanese chefs with the restaurant's Chef Jeremy Lee, consists of the following menu items:
Taiwan Appetizer Sampler
Pork Soup Dumplings
Special Taiwanese Chive Dumplings
Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup Duo
A special cocktail infused with bitter melon from Shojo Head Bartender Markus Yao will be served.
