Sunny skies are expected over the Clarksville area today for Valentines day as temperatures will be slightly above average, in the middle fifties. The warmth will be short lived though as cold air will move over the eastern United States for the weekend. Temperatures will be in the forties Friday with a few rain and snow showers passing through the region. The coldest temperatures will be on Saturday as highs will struggle to reach the forties with a few snow showers possible. No snow accumulation is expected with any of the snow showers. Looking to the rest of the weekend and into the workweek, temperatures will warm back into the middle to upper fifties ahead of the next system to move through on Tuesday.
