A sunny day starts the workweek in Clarksville

After a rainy day yesterday, skies will clear today with temperatures slightly above average, in the middle fifties. The clear conditions will last through the night tonight and into the day tomorrow before the next system arrives. This system will arrive overnight Tuesday and last through the morning Wednesday bringing more rain showers to the region. Some of the rain may mix with snow or sleet Wednesday morning, but no significant precipitation is expected and the ground is warm enough that no travel delays are expected. The sunny conditions will return on Thursday as high pressure moves back into the region with temperatures near average, in the lower fifties.
