A sprightly St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl starts at Tom Bergin's in Los Angeles

Bobby and Tom (and many others) have their shamrocks hung on the wall, and although it’s changed ownership over the years, Tom Bergin's remains the best Irish pub in all of Los Angeles, in many fans’ opinions. Located at 840 S. Fairfax Avenue, the place pulsates every day of the year with a ‘Cheers’ like cast of tipplers, some who actually eat the food (which is pretty good). Be prepared for a March mad house on the 17th.

From Bergens drive into Hollywood for a few at Dillon’s Irish Pub & Grill (6263 Hollywood Blvd) then continue your pub crawl with a drive (cab ride recommended) or Jameson’s Irish Pub at
6681 Hollywood Blvd. and/or Casey’s Irish Pub downtown at 613 S. Grand Avenue. Then head over the hill (with a designated driver, cab or limo) to Ireland’s 32 at 13721 Burbank Blvd. in Van Nuys., and/or Timmy Nolan’s Tavern and Grill at 10111 Riverside Drive in Toluca Lake.

If you live closer to the west side of LA, you might prefer to stop for a pop at Brennan’s Pub at 4089 Lincoln Blvd., Marina del Rey and bring a few Irish pals.

Rock and Reilly's in West Hollywood will definitely rock on St. Patrick's Day, check out the video.

There are scores of other St. Patty’s Day pubs in and around Los Angeles which you can find at CBSLosAngeles. The above list of suggestions was intended to give you a good head start.
