Rodeo from Good Mews Animal Foundation in metro Atlanta has a special message that she posted on the Good Mews Facebook page yesterday:

Hi, my name is Rodeo. I live in the kitten room at Good Mews, but I will be moving to the main shelter with the big cats soon. I am now 9 months. I was really hoping I would find my forever home while I was still real little. I think I was overlooked because I have some chronic congestion issues. I am on medication for it, but really, it is not a big deal! It is just stuffiness. I don’t know why that would turn someone off, considering I have so much going for me. I am told I am super-cute. I like to play and am very energetic. I love people and am very affectionate and I enjoy cuddling in people’s laps. And I get along with everyone: cats, big people and kids! I think I sound pretty perfect, what do you think? So maybe if you want to adopt a kitten, but not a real little one, you will think of me?

And now is the perfect time to come to Good Mews because we are having a fun special. It is called Scoop up the Love! What you do is scoop an adoption fee out of a litter box and what you scoop is what you will pay. And all fees are reduced. At the end of the month, two lucky adopters will win a fun prize! So be sure to stop by this weekend and hopefully you will fall in love with me and take me home!

The following is some additional information about Rodeo from the Good Mews website:

Rodeo is a very active kitten that would do best with an energetic feline friend. She also has a very affectionate side. She loves to sit in your lap when she has finished a crazy play session. She even has a special little sound that she makes when she is ready to play! Her playful nature means that she loves to play with jewelry, especially necklaces when you are holding her. She is a very sweet kitten with a great personality and is great with kids. Rodeo does seem to have some chronic congestion issues. She is on medication for it, but will need to be monitored and may need medication in the future.

About Good Mews Animal Foundation

Good Mews is a cage-free, no-kill cat shelter offering an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the Metro Atlanta area. They provide a safe haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats until they can be placed in permanent, loving homes. Since 1988, Good Mews has placed over 7,000 cats in forever homes. The shelter receives no government support and relies solely on donations of time, services, goods and money from its many supporters and local businesses. Good Mews is home to approximately 100 residents on any given day – most of whom reside at the Shelter in Marietta, with some cats residing in foster homes.
