Hey, Hey, from Bellona! Friday is almost here and I got my party hat on!! I have been waiting weeks for this weekend and it is finally here: the Spring Flea Market!
The flea market is Good Mews’ biggest fundraiser of the year and we want it to be a huge success. Our awesome supporters have been donating some great items and our volunteers have been hard at work, making the store look fabulous! I promise, nobody will not walk out of there empty-handed!!
In order for us to have new merchandise every weekend, we are still in need of donations! So remember, we will continue to collect thru May 10th.
We will also be having a bake sale. Who can resist cupcakes, brownies, cookies, breads…?? YUM!! I hear this is the best bake sale around!
So remember, 100% of the proceeds go towards taking care of me. OK…100% of the proceeds go towards taking care of me and my boyfriend, Bud. Uggg! OK . . . 100% of the proceeds benefit ALL the cats and kittens at Good Mews! Help spread the word!!

Good Mews is a cage-free, no-kill cat shelter offering an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the Metro Atlanta area. They provide a safe haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats until they can be placed in permanent, loving homes. Since 1988, Good Mews has placed almost 7,000 cats in forever homes. The shelter receives no government support and relies solely on donations of time, services, goods and money from its many supporters and local businesses. Good Mews is home to approximately 100 residents on any given day – most of whom reside at the Shelter in Marietta, with some cats residing in foster homes.
