Hey everyone . . . it is me, Romeo. I am posting on Facebook in hopes of finding my forever home. I was adopted from Good Mews when I was a kitten, and after living in a home for 10 years, I was returned. My family returned me because they were afraid I would hurt the new baby. Me, hurt a baby? Are you kidding? I am a sweet, gentle boy that would not hurt a fly. Well, maybe a fly, but not a human. I love people. But do not feel sad for me. I know I am loved at Good Mews and I will find a forever family one day.
So the only thing different about me is that I have a sensitive tummy and sometimes throw up, so I am on a special diet. It is really helping me, but it does not mean I have to be on this food forever. It is recommended I eat my special food when I first go home, but if my new family wants to, they can talk to their vet to see if it can be changed.
And guess what? Good Mews is a Network Partner with Best Friends Animal Society so we get to participate in all of their awesome specials. This weekend is the last weekend for the 9 Lives for $9! All cats over 9 months have an adoption fee of $9! The reason for the special is to increase adoptions so many more lives can be saved!
So if you want a sweet, mellow cat to join your family, please come and meet me! I am so handsome I know you will fall in love with me!

Good Mews is a cage-free, no-kill cat shelter offering an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the Metro Atlanta area. They provide a safe haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats until they can be placed in permanent, loving homes. Since 1988, Good Mews has placed over 7,000 cats in forever homes. The shelter receives no government support and relies solely on donations of time, services, goods and money from its many supporters and local businesses. Good Mews is home to approximately 100 residents on any given day – most of whom reside at the Shelter in Marietta, with some cats residing in foster homes.
