Hey everyone . . . my name is Harper! I am a new kitten at the shelter. I have been here one week and let me tell you, I like it here. It sure beats living outside! I was living in a neighborhood and people were feeding me and sometimes I got to go in their house and watch TV with them, but at night I was put back out. One person did want to give me a home, so I lived with her for a few days, then her silly dog got mad, so back outside I went. I was so grateful when someone picked me up and took me to Good Mews! Now hopefully I will find a forever home and not have to worry about living outside again.
So I am a great girl. All you have to do is look at me and I will start purring. I also love to be held and cuddled. I love it so much I won’t even try to squirm away. I could snuggle in someone’s arms for hours! I also get along well with others and like to play with other kitties. I am new in the kitten room so I am just now making friends, but hopefully I will have some best pals soon. So if you are looking for an outgoing, social, loveable kitten to come live with you, how about considering me? I came really close to getting adopted last weekend. Tons of people held me and said they loved me, but nobody took me home. Hopefully this Saturday will be my lucky day!
Good Mews thinks it is very important that kittens have a feline friend, so if you do not already have a kitty in your home, consider adopting two kittens! Kittens are always two-fur-one..$125!

Good Mews is a cage-free, no-kill cat shelter offering an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the Metro Atlanta area. They provide a safe haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats until they can be placed in permanent, loving homes. Since 1988, Good Mews has placed over 7,000 cats in forever homes. The shelter receives no government support and relies solely on donations of time, services, goods and money from its many supporters and local businesses. Good Mews is home to approximately 100 residents on any given day – most of whom reside at the Shelter in Marietta, with some cats residing in foster homes.
