Hello from Angelina! I heard Good Mews is having an adoption special and I am a part of it! I sure hope this helps me find my forever home. I am over-looked on adoption days because I am shy. I do enjoy the company of people, but it does take me some time to trust them. I have some kitty buddies that work with me and they are helping me learn to relax. I am sorry I am shy, but I had a hard life! I was homeless outside and was having a hard time caring for myself.
When I found out I was pregnant, I knocked on someone’s door and asked for help. Luckily it was a nice person’s door and she took me in so I could have my 6 babies. We then went to Good Mews to find our forever homes. My babies have all been adopted, and now I am hoping it will be my turn this month.
I will need a patient adopter, willing to give me the time I need to feel comfortable. And I love other kitties, so I have to go to a home where another cat lives. Or you could adopt me and one of my Good Mews pals!
Come by and see me this weekend. Black, orange, calico and tortie kitties have a reduced adoption fee of $31.13 and we go home with a goody-bag!
Angelina is a one and a half year old domestic short hair calico cat and is available for adoption. The following is some additional information about her from the Good Mews website:
Angelia is a shy cat that will need a patient adopter willing to give her the time she needs to adjust. Right now she is pretty scared and confused and prefers hanging out behind a cat tree. She does like the company of other cats and there are a few cats that are spending time with her, trying to make her feel safe.
Angelina has either been a stray cat her whole life or her family did not take very good care of her and did not bother having her spayed and let her roam. But either way, she is now safe.
Angelina is nervous around people, but she knew if she was going to get the help she needed, she would have to be brave and let a human help her. She went to someone’s doorstep and let it be known she was alone and pregnant and asked for help. I am sure she did it for her babies. The person brought her in and contacted Good Mews to see if we could help. Angelina went straight to foster care and had 6 beautiful babies. She was a great mom, but after being around 6 rambunctious kittens, she was ready for a break, so she came to the shelter when the kittens were no longer nursing.
Now Angelina is hoping for a quiet home of her own. She will be very scared at first, but with a lot of time and patience, she will learn to trust and be happy she is forever safe.
