A South suburban restaurant gives real live Chicago Blues a try tonight (Friday)

No morning newspapers for me.  Why ruin your day from the start? Instead, I prefer to check the world famous Live Blues Calendar from ChicagoBluesBeat.  

I thought this was worth mentioning.  Tonight in Tinley Park the Charley Horse Restaurant will give our favorite genre a shot.  I appreciate that it isn't another Stevie Ray impersonator but rather Nigel Mack & the Blues Attack.  I first met Nigel when he was touring across the States from Canada (a far North suburb of Chicago). As it happens, he has taken up residence in Sweet Home.  

I hope the locals get to hear this for sure, but it would be nice for Blues fans to show our support for a venue that is willing to give our players a chance.  I have no illusions of Live Chicago Blues being a weekly feature at Charley Horse, but with some support, perhaps they would present this at least once a month.  I do not know the restaurant people, but I do know Nigel.  He sings, plays harp, slide and guitar, and all of them well.
