Animal Friends Humane Society of San Antonio is closing. This is very sad as this group has saved countless animals over the years as a no-kill animal shelter.
Rescuers and animal lovers are working steadfastly to save the animals at Animal Friends. Bailey is a pittie girl who’s been at Animal Friends since a tiny puppy. She has never had the opportunity to be someone’s beloved pet.
As Bailey doesn’t get along with other dogs, her options are extremely limited. Spindletop is a longtime Texas pit bull rescue and rehab and will take Bailey into their board to rescue program which conditions and rehabs dogs so that they can be placed with qualified adopters.
Animal Rescue Connections has organized a chip-in to raise the board to rescue fee so Bailey can enter the Spindletop program.
This is a win/win/win situation for everyone involved. Bailey gets to live her life and learn good manners. Spindletop gets to pursue their calling as the world’s best dog mecca on the planet. Animal Friends will know that Bailey is in a safe and loving place. Animal Rescue Connections can pat themselves of the back for making this dream a reality and saving Bailey's life.
