The official Michael Jackson Opus is a tribute to the King of Pop like no other. The oversized, 400-page tribute will be driven by photos but also will include essays, illustrations and poetry, at least half of it exclusive — all handbound in leather and enclosed in a silk clamshell case.
Where other projects have been priced at more than $2,000, the Jackson book will cost $165. "Michael wanted this to be accessible to as many people as possible," says Kraken CEO Karl Fowler.

Awesome preview! I ordered my copy of MJ Opus at the pre-order speacial price. It costs a little bit more now, but I believe it would definitely make a great keepsake for those who love Michael Jackson. I has to really fight off the temptation to purchase those other tribute magazines. All of those so-called tributes spent half the content talking about "what went wrong", "the fallen star", "the eccentricities", "the weirdness", as well as plastering the pages with photos of Michael wearing blue pyjamas pants to court, showing off his son blanket at the balcony, and other photos that present Michael in the most unfavourable angles. Since the fans would be the target consumers of these tribute magazine, it really makes me wonder why did they all carry an MJ-bashing overtone?
I would love to bye a copy. I love him and miss him so much!
