According to Nerd Reactor on Feb. 19, AMC's "The Walking Dead" will give a sneak peak into episode 311 "I Ain't Judas". Carl Grimes confronts his father Rick Grimes about ending the "Ricktatorship".
From the mouths of babes, Carl even sees that his own father's ability to lead has gone to shambles and could be endangering the group. For a kid that had to kill his own mother, he grew up pretty fast which justified his being strong enough to approach Rick about taking a break from leading. Carl believes that Daryl and Hershel should take over.
If anything, that's a good combination. Daryl, the crossbow marksman could definitely lead the group considering he's hardly affected by anything emotionally. It appears that his social ineptitude would help in a survival situation. One-legged Hershel, even though he's elderly, has a lot of wisdom and makes the most sense. His mellowness helps him keep a level head.
Andrea considers returning to the group and The Governor tells her just how he feels about that. At this point, he has done away with covering his true colors and is out for vengeance and proactively posturing himself in front of the prison, letting them know he means business. He sent his message via a mock armored personal carrier and unleashing captive zombies into the prison compound. He also killed Axel, played by Lew Temple, and turned himself into a human meat shield for Carol.
Then there's Merle, Daryl's conniving brother that most people feel like giving a fat lip every time he opens his mouth. Of course, he would probably just laugh as he spits out his own blood.
Also, will Rick consider taking on the role of a follower and let Daryl and Hershel take over? Perhaps it's time for him to deal with his demons
