A smorgasbord of chicken recipes

If you were a little bird on the windowsill of most kitchens across the country, you would probably see people preparing chicken recipes many nights of the week. Finding interesting, tasty, and inexpensive chicken recipes is not difficult.

Here are several sources for recipes that will keep your family fed and happy for a long time. You can find frozen chicken breasts at any Kroger across Northeast Tennessee for under $7.00 a bag. Recently in Bristol, they have been offered on a "Buy One Get One Free" special.

Another great choice is the Tyson's Grilled and Ready variety that is pre-cooked. There is a Tyson's website specifically for this chicken with a recipe for each of 30 days. There is also a form you can use to order a free fitness plan that requires only a Proof of Purchase from the product. It's Called 30days30ways30rewards.com. You could, of course, use any chicken that you have already cooked.

Did you know that you can download Kindle editions of cookbooks without a Kindle? You only need to download a free program (HERE) to your computer, smartphone, tablet, or other device. Here is a Kindle chicken recipes cookbook that can be downloaded free of charge to anyone. You can try 35 Quick and Easy Chicken Dinner Recipes:  How to Cook Chicken the Whole Family Will Love!

Here is another Kindle book from Amazon:  Country Cooking Recipes for Food Lovers Chicken Recipes.   This book incorporates 50 Mouthwatering Chicken Recipes by R. King and M. Smith. The book costs $9.99 unless you are a member of Amazon Prime in which case it is free to download.

The recipe in the photograph accompanying this article, one of our family favorites, was originally featured on Martha Stewart.com, and it has been repeatedly "pinned" on Pinterest. This is Cayenne-Rubbed Chicken with Avocado Salsa.
