With the exception of today, the weather in the Willamette valley has been a little on the south side of sucksville. I am not trying to say that I am a sissy, but riding in the rain is not something that I consider to be enjoyable. Not that staring out the window at the mildly flooding streets is any more fun, it is merely more dry.
Unfortunately, if there is no motorcycle travel, there are no articles to be written about traveling. Luckily I have been able to concentrate my efforts elsewhere.
While the rain has kept falling, I have been forced to start editing some of the pictures that I have taken on my travels, whether it was a bike trip by myself, or a car trip with the kids, or a simple walk in the woods, I have tried to document most of the beautiful sights I see.
This has led me to become the Eugene Life in Photos Examiner. This allows me to show you pictures of places I go when I am not on my bike, and adds a different flavor to what I like to do.
For instance, my first article on my Life in Photos page is about Crater Lake, with pictures of it in the snow. Even though the roads were clear going up, I still went there in a Jeep Cherokee, as I didn't know what type of weather I was going to encounter.
Please check out the page and my first story up there. Go ahead and subscribe and pass it along to your friends. As the weather improves (if it improves this year) then more articles will show up here again. Until then, enjoy some pretty pictures of Crater Lake covered in some beautiful snow.
