One of the biggest secrets for really cool holiday parties in Los Angeles is the very fun (and sometimes rowdy) Moorpark-Tujunga Holiday Party that's planned for Saturday night, December 7 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at (you guessed it) Moorpark Street and Tujunga Avenue in Studio City.
In the past they've had vintage cars lining the streets, free food, lots of bargains and samples. There will be street carolers, face painting, live music, balloons and of course, Santa Claus.
They will be also collecting unwrapped presents for Toys for Tots at the popular Studio City intersection as well.
Why is it so secret? Well, as one merchant tells Studio City Examiner, "We give a lot of great deals, and frankly, we don't want too many people coming from all over, it's for the neighborhood. It's about friends and family here."
There's no advertising, not many signs or brochures about it, and nothing online about it. So, even better to come on out!
Look through our photo gallery of the past merchant association parties, it looks like fun, right?
Check it out on this busy weekend, and don't forget these things:
