If you like your treats to be salty and sweet, then you have something to celebrate today.

March 8 is National Peanut Cluster Day.

Peanut cluster is made with melted chocolate mixed with peanuts. This is the perfect combination for a sweet and salty delicious treat any time of the day.

Peanut clusters are a quick and easy snack to make. Simply melt chocolate in a bowl and add peanuts. Stir the two ingredients together. Then drop a spoonful into a “cluster” on waxed paper or foil.

If you want a large cluster, use a big spoon. If you want smaller clusters for kids with smaller hands, then make their small by using a smaller spoon.

There is no cooking involved. Simply let the clusters harden. The result will satisfy your taste for salty and sweet at the same time.

Peanut clusters have been around since 1912. Peanut clusters have been made popular today by the Goo Goo brand.

If you do not want to make your own, you can always buy them from the candy store or your local grocery store.
