“A Rhythm Nation (ARN) Dance Company” was founded in 2006 by director Kavin Grant. Mr. Grant purposed to create a space where professional and pre-professional dancers could grow together and Jacksonville, Florida is the venue for that place. Although ARN began primarily as a hip hop dance company, it has morphed into other forms of dance such as Contemporary and African. An even bigger transformation is ARN's first musical theatre performance “Group Therapy”, in combination with Evidence Entertainment Singing Group, also founded by Grant.
"Group Therapy," is an inspiring plot of different couples struggling with relationships and their faith. The message is:“God wants you in whatever state you are in, no matter how tattered and torn you may be--it's never too late to rekindle or burn brighter a relationship with God. What God has joined together let no man put asunder!!!”
Artistic director, choreographer and writer, Kavin Grant, recently returned to his home in Jacksonville from Temple University after completing his second year of Graduate Studies in Dance. He brings to Florida his tantalizing stage show, “Group Therapy”, that is sure to wow the audience and give them A+++ performances like they have never seen before.
