Heading west for the Sturgis rally? If You are, have fun and ride safely, but most of all don"t fool
with Mother Nature. This is just a friendly little reminder to what Nature can dish out.
Make no mistake about it, lighting in a thunder storm is a killer. Dozens of people are killed every
year, and even more are left disabled, or have some long lasting after effect, should they survive.
Lighting is hotter than the surface of the sun, and it packs hundred's of thousands of volts of
electricity. Something You don't want to be in contact with.
If You should find Yourself in a bad situation, seek shelter where ever, even at a strangers place.
You would be amazed at how receptive these people can be, and even lead to life long friendships.
Remember to be courteous and thankful for a safe place to be, and who knows, You might have a
free place to stay next year.
