At the beginning of the New Year we have many expectations for the new year. Many also make resolutions, unfortunately, those end up by the wayside by February. Why? Is it really our desire to make a change or are we really just fooling ourselves. Why does being happy have to depend on what size we are, according to who? The media, Hollywood, what if anything is ever real there, that's just a superficial happiness. True happiness comes from within ourselves, and if you did deeper you'll find that joy in the Lord

So this concept of NEW as related in a NEW year does it really have to be new? Maybe a year of firsts, like the first kiss, first celebration, first meal of the NEW year. Time isn't new it's been around, well since the beginning of time. So how do you really measure it's newness?

A year is a specific frame of time. 365 days to get things done, shopping, eating , drinking and being merry (read happy). Times of great exploration and development, to create New things, bring about change, to create and leave a lasting memory. Time to make New friends by meeting New people,e while at the same time sharing with old friends via Facebook, etc.
So as we go through this period, of recent origin, indicative of pleasure, or joy, or HAPPY NEW YEAR, let's do so with a renewed sense of joy and giving, and believing in each other and encourage others to be the best, and do their best that they can and leave the past in the past, stepping forward while we create, live, and believe that we can really change who we are for the better, while affecting the world around us in our own way that's uniquely ours!
Be a real light for change in this the dark world we live in.
