A Proposal to Construct an Immigrant Detention Facility in Essex County, NJ

NEWARK, Federal Immigration officials asserted that a detention facility might be built in Essex Country. A representative of Essex County claimed that the contract for an immigrant detention facility is not signed yet. As a result, immigration advocacy factions are planning to walk "more than three miles across Newark" to object signing the detention facility program that probably is going to be constructed in New Jersey.
