Heather Morris, the president of a non-profit dog rescue agency in Texas, wants to acknowledge and help, a compassionate, Catholic priest who has been working hard to save dogs in San Antonio.
Morris, president of Don't Bully Me, stated:
This is Father Hynes in San Antonio, Texas, who we named our little blue boy after. He is an amazing man who not only cares for animals abandoned at the parish but he continues to seek justice for human rights atrocities.
Father Hynes was once imprisoned for 6 months for civil disobedience protesting the murders of civilians in Latin America.
Morris and her rescue agency recently took in a puppy from Father Hynes and today, they want to pay it forward.
this selfless man helps so many, he pays for everything out of pocket (shots, worming, spay/neuter, food, blankets, boarding, you name it.
Now, the rescue agency wants to help the man who has helped so many homeless dogs...
We thought it would be a nice gesture to give back to Father Hynes, so we decided to have a food drive for him. You can drop off these items at any of our adoption events, Shipley’s in San Marcos 1602 Aquarena Springs Drive or if you are in the San Antonio area you can reach out to Vice President of DBMR, Kim Young at email@example.com.
If you would like to help out with Father Hyne's boarding bill, you can make a monetary donation to the facility itself. Dodd Veterinary Clinic
