A Pony Named Olga comes to the US promoting new album coming out on April 15th

Announced on February 28 by Western Publicity, popular German band A Pony Named Olga are beginning to pave their way in America, after playing numerous shows across Europe for the past several years including Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Portugal. Beginning the first week of March, they'll start their first U.S. tour in advance of the re-issue of their debut album, "The Land Of Milk and Pony," in April. The album is also repackaged and available on vinyl for the first time, including digipack CD and digital download).

Filled with wry humor and wit, lead vocalist Heinrich Heimpel conveys a throaty "timbre," and can play a mean Gretsch six-string, "seamlessly blending a wide variety of styles with panache." Bassist "Luscious" Lloyd Clark is high-class, and drummer Steve The Machine definitely "lives up to his name."

Their music is a mix of country-punk with a bit of "psychobilly" thrown in, makes for a hootenanny, rocking good time. Be sure to see them live if they're in your area. Tour dates are listed below:
