A place to zip for Zippity

Petite, perky, and full of zip, Zippity is a kitty who craves attention.  Perhaps she’s trying to make up for lost time, since she and her kitty friend Doo-da were found abandoned in an apartment in early February.  Fortunately, a good Samaritan brought the two to the Liberty Humane Society after the owner left them to this cruel fate.

Zippity’s asymmetrical markings on her nose give her a fun, impish look.  She’s a polydactyl cat, which means she has six toes like the famous Hemingway cats of Key West.  For this reason, Zippity is quite unique looking and her little paws look a bit like miniature boxing gloves.

Shelter volunteer Jenny Furlong says, “When you walk past her crate, Zippity will always try to get your attention.  She’s petite and round, gray and white, and has amazingly soft fur.  While she loves to be petted, she’s also full of energy and ready to play.  She’ll be quite the charmer when she can finally zip around her forever home!”

FeVL- and FIV-negative, up-to-date on shots, and spayed, Zippity is ready to move into her forever home immediately.  Though she and Doo-da were reasonably good friends, she’ll be more than happy as an only cat in the household.  So, if you think your home needs a little extra zip, Zippity would love to oblige!
