One only needs to look at the UK to see how these very same policies of unchecked immigration will do.
Former British PM Tony Blair has now admitted that the UK turned into a bunch of chumps for asylum fraud. Here we have mostly Third World illiterates sponging off the welfare state; there they have that problem compounded by perhaps millions of anti-Western Muslims.
This seems to me like a good way to get these N G men and women killed.

The National Guard is currently nothing more than extra Minutemen. Observe and report, do not engage. I believe the last time they were down there they were told to retreat if engaged. Our politicians, not just Obummer, are worthless when it comes to the defense of this country.

Unit Commanders have the Authority to make the call, always have.
All it takes is one hard nosed retread Lt and things would not be going the way they are. There are written regulations which are being ignored in order to disarm the troops.
Look closer.. No Body Armor.. No field gear whatsoever..
Blame the Company and Battalion Commander's incompetence and distrust of their own men and women for this bit of stupidity.
