Are you wondering what to get your friends and family for the Holidays?

Well, come on down. On down to Fountain Valley in Orange County this Saturday, November 9, 2013. At Mile Square Park, 16801 Euclid Street.

There will be a Pacific Island Holiday Festival going on between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. that day. There will be retail vendors showcasing their wares that will have that island touch. Enough to make whatever you choose, unique and exciting to the recipient of your largesse.

Not only will vendors be there, but at least 7 different dance studios will be performing throughout the day the dances of Polynesia: Hula, Samoan and Tahitian. And for your listening pleasure, local island bands will be strumming and singing favorite island tunes just for you.

And, don't forget, if you've never had lomi-lomi salmon and poi for the Holidays, now is your chance to savor the cultural foods from the islands. So get on down there.

Also, if you bring 5 canned goods for the Orange County Food Bank, you will receive one ticket for the opportunity drawing to be held during the festivities. You can't go wrong there. And, admission is free. Yes, all of the above will be for your viewing and listening and tasting pleasure, for free.
