A night of hope - Joel Osteen at Dodger Stadium

It seems like every way we turn we're surrounded by loss right now.  Job loss, economic crisis, foreclosures, state wide debt, earthquakes, death, war.  The list could go on and on.  We only need to have the news on for a few minutes to feel overwhelmed by the devastations we face in every direction.

Isn't it time that we take a break from our worries and focus on some hope for a change?

On Saturday April 24th, 2010, best selling author, pastor and motivational speaker Joel Osteen will be in town providing a much needed, uplifting message at Dodger Stadium.  Make sure you grab your friends and attend "A Night of Hope."  This gathering will have testimonies, worship, prayer and a sermon from Pastor Joel himself.

This will be a great night to set aside time to meet with other fellow believers and renew our hearts with the hope that only God can provide. The Bible tells us that when two or more are gathered in God's name, that God is there in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:20)  Well, on April 24th, we have the potential to bring up to 56,000 believers together in our city of angels and lift our prayers to the heavens!

Gather your friends, family and neighbors and reserve your tickets today. It's sure to be an amazing night!

    Dear Ms. Prest,
One would think you are on Joel Olsteen's payroll for that promotion.

I'm glad you quoted a scripture because he usually doesn't. This man has done more harm for the gospel of Jesus Christ because of his constantly smiling mug, no references to the Bible, and his feel good 1-10 step plans on how to live the "good" and "successful" Christian. Life is difficult to say the least, and anyone who states differently is contradicting Jesus.(See John 16:23. Has Olsteen and/or wife suffered physically or financially to the point of despair? Maybe, but you wouldn't know it since he preaches a false Christianity without any substance. The lack of expository preaching in the church today, is causing it's demise and lack of cultural relevance.Rather than promoting this man, I would just read and study the Bible and do what JC said instead of listening to this so called Christian celebrity.
