Northwestern Michigan College’s iDance is hosting ‘Night of Dreams,’ a celebration of dance and dancing, showcasing the diversity of dance and the people who enjoy it.
Hosted at the Opera House in Traverse City, this event will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 6 – 12:30 a.m.
Participants can come between 6-7:30 p.m. for a Waltz Workshop with Mykl Werth and the dance community.
Doors for the workshop, open at 5:30 p.m. and is $2 for Students and $5 for the Public.
Having a partner for this occasion is not necessary since willing dance partners can be found at the event.
‘A Night of Dreams’ starts at 8 p.m. and ends at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5 for students and $12 for the public.
There is no dress code for this event, however, please wear dance shoes, shoes you can move in, or bring some socks (with stickies on bottom) to dance in.
(Partner dancing involves twirling, dipping, jumping and close encounters with your partner.)
This is a family-friendly, NMC related event, so please be mindful of language, behavior and what you wear.

The iDance group has been hosting Opera House Dances for the last 8 years and hope to continue the tradition for many years to come.
All profits received from ticket sales will help fund future and current iDance events such as this one, alone with any other events.
Hors D'oeuvres will be provided.
Tickets can be purchased at the City Opera House Box Office, online, or at the door. Please be aware that tickets will be sold separately the night of, and you will be asked to go back downstairs to purchase your ticket for the dance after 7:30 p.m.
