Brandy, in Las Vegas to count down the end of 2012 at Lavo, showed off her engagement ring from fiancé Ryan Press on the red carpet Monday night.
“I’m not a big diamond girl, but I really love this diamond. It just represents how he feels about me and I’m really blessed to have someone like him in my life,” Brandy told reporters.
Shortly after the fireworks had finished exploding up and down the Strip, Brandy and Ryan were presented with an three-tiered cake topped with a giant, sugary ring while DJ Five played one of her throwback songs, “Sitting on Top of the World.”
When reporters on the red carpet asked Brandy what her plans were for 2013, she said, “More music in 2013. “The Game,” the show that I’m a part of, is coming back for season six on BET. I’m really excited about that. I love my character on that show. And just, you know, just more entertainment from me. I just want to keep going. I never want to stop.”
Other celebrities inside the two-story nightclub on New Year’s Eve included Jamie Foxx, Kevin Connolly and Emmanuelle Chriqui.
