Marvel US Management and Glitz Entertainment presented an elegant charity event February 5th at Millesime, benefiting the New York City Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. The luxurious venue inside The Carlton Hotel (92 Madison Ave.) hosted a live performance by Brienna DeVlught, an incredible fashion show by Henrioci, and music by DJs Rhys Valmonte and Ms. Nix. The event also featured rhinestone embossed gloves and faux fur wrist warmers for sale by Glitz Winter Accessories, and gorgeous bejeweled pumps by Marc Defang New York, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association.

Ms. New York 2013, Stephanie Jill Chernick, hosted the benefit, which also included a silent auction of sports and music memorabilia, and tickets to celebrity events such as the ESPYs. Some other items included an autographed David Bowie “David Live” album, an autographed Michael Jackson “Thriller” album, and an autographed photo of Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays. All auction proceeds benefited the NYC chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Two-time Golden Gloves winner Cara Castronuova, Ira Chernick, producer of the upcoming films “Taking Back Vegas” and “Mirror Life,” and Beyond Comics Inc. founder Graig Weich were some of the guests at the benefit.

The Alzheimer’s Association New York City Chapter offers a 24-hour helpline, caregiver support group, home delivered meals, cultural arts programs, and much more, all free of charge.
