A new year, a new way to parent

See also

The countdown has begun and as we eagerly await to usher in another new year, we are reflecting about the last 365 days. The things we have accomplished and those which we have not. The sorrows we may have endured and the joys we have celebrated. The horrors we have heard of in the news regarding the shootings of innocent people. Through all this one thing has been made constant and resonates with us all; the fact that we must appreciate and be grateful for what we have. Embrace every moment of every day that we have with our families. It is quite easy to get caught up in the day to day routine of life, however the smiling faces of children can bring you back to what is most important.

So when making those New Year's resolutions consider putting these on your list.

Things to do more of as a family:

1. Pray incessantly

2. Laugh abundantly

3. Express love fervently

4. Forgive

5. Give to others

6. Dream (and do it BIG!)

7. Enjoy life completely

No matter what resolutions you make, hopefully you will achieve them. Wishing all of you a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year! May all your dreams come true!
