A New Year, a new hotspot: Brothers Bar & Grill

There's a new bar at Newport On The Levee

Brothers Bar & Grill, a midwestern chain with 16 other locations, has just opened its doors to Northern Kentuckians.  Located on the main level of the levee, just across from Borders Bookstore, Brothers has a unique atmosphere.

When walking in, the first thing you may notice is the enormous bar.  Seating around 50 people at one time, the bar is spacious and boasts flat screen TVs on all sides. Brothers offers drink specials daily, as well.  Everyday of the week one can enjoy 1/2 off on all drinks, 4-7 p.m.  Mondays stop in and enjoy $2 Coors, $3.50 Millers or Coors pitchers and $7 Import and Microbrewed pitchers after 7 p.m.  Tuesdays offer $2.00 well drinks and $2.50 Any Pint (domestic or micro) after 7 p.m.  Thursdays are $1 well mixers and Jager Bombs, $3.00 Soco mixers, and $3.00 Jack Daniels mixers.  Friday - Sundays offer hots deals as well!

But drinks are not all Brothers has to offer. Ask Sarah, one of the friendly bartenders, about  "Wing-DIng Wednesdays" where 10-cent wings are available after 9 p.m.   Or cop a squat in one of the many comfy booths or tables overlooking the city and order from your server.  You can even camp around an open fire on Brother's spacious and open patio, right on the river, of course.

You starting to get the idea?

Brothers is the place to be.
