Thaddeus, a werewolf and a member of the Council, called Zach who’s a vampire, to make sure he understands just how important his mission is. He’s been charged with protecting Alex, who’s a Super and doesn’t know it. He was told that Alex is essential to the fate of the world and it’s up to Zach to whisk her off to town and then onto the airport for a trip on the Council jet to get from Scotland to the U.S.
