WGN news in Chicago did a report on a procedure that is becoming popular, to freeze the extra fat in the body to get rid of it. People are always talking about exercising and melting the fat off, but now doctors have discovered you can freeze the fat cells to reduce them. This procedure is good for people who are around 30 pounds over weight. You won’t drop pounds, you will just loose the extra fat and inches. People love that it is a simple, pain free and a non-invasive procedure. It only takes about an hour and you can go back to work on the same day. Fat cells die a slow death in 6 to 8 weeks. It is reported that the fat eventually is absorbed or excreted from the body after a couple of months or so.
A doctor from Harvard discovered this procedure. The cost starts at $750 dollars, but Groupon has even offered deals for fat freezing treatments. One deal ran for $299 for the treatment called CoolSculpting by Zeltiq. Check with your doctor first about this FDA approved process.
