Two Bostons’ (TB) Share the Love Food Drive and Operation Kare9 are officially over although the caring folks associated with this great pet product store have agreed to continue accepting people non-perishable food donations, personal grooming products and winter boots throughout the first weekend in March. Their goal is to blow away the goal from 2012. They are inviting you to help them achieve their new goal! The Facebook poll will be revealed shortly about which rescue group will receive the free kibble. The poll ended yesterday.
New products and pet supplies will be gracing the shelves of both Two Bostons’ locations and new events will be taking place now that March is in full-swing. Say for example the March Birthday Bash; a monthly event to celebrate the birthdays or ‘gotcha’ days for your canines. In March the ‘Bash’ will be held next Sunday, March 10th from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. at the Two Bostons’ Springbrook location; their 75th Street Store. As usual this event will feature cakes for both the humans and the canines and will provide for a social celebration where everyone present will be able to meet and greet others that have a reason to party this month.
Then do not forget about the St. Patrick’s Day Parade that is scheduled for the following weekend on Saturday, March 16th at 10:00 a.m. in Downtown Naperville, close to their Jefferson Street location. As Andy and AdreAnne Tesene say, “Céad míle fáilte romhat!” (‘A hundred thousand welcomes to you!’) They are inviting the public and their pets to don their most festive green attire and join the rest of the pet lovers in Downtown Naperville to celebrate the Irish in all of us and to walk in the Naperville St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Besides the parade, there will be other fun and festivities to enjoy. If you intend to join Two Bostons, make certain that you email them at events@twobostons.com or stop by either one of their stores to tell them you will be there and how many four-legged members of the family will be attending with you. The group will be meeting at Naperville North High School’s parking lot at 10:00 a.m. for the parade’s start. All dogs will have to be led on a standard leash, not an adjustable leash please.
Lastly, on Saturday, March 23rd at the 75th Street location and on Sunday, March 24th at the Jefferson Street Downtown location, Two Boston will be featuring their annual Pictures with the Easter Bunny. Both days you are invited to bring your pooch from Noon until 3:00 p.m. to celebrate this famous event. Both you and your dog are invited to take photos with the Easter Bunny. If you forget your camera, representatives from A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter will be there to assist the bunny and take photos. Although the event is completely FREE, if you choose to make a donation, Two Bostons will be relinquishing all to A.D.O.P.T. to assist them in helping as many animals as possible.
Way to go TB! You really put the public and their pooches first – that is why you are so loved!
