According to the website Ign.com, a new title by Telltale Games has been announced. This game takes place in the “Game of Thrones” universe, and it was announced on December 7, 2013 during VGX 2013. The game does not yet have an official title or release date, but it is planned to be released in 2014. Telltale Games is known for making games based on the universes of “The Walking Dead” and “Back to the Future,” among others.

Not much is known about the game, but the gameplay for the game will be in a similar mold to other Telltale Games titles. Basically, that means the game will control like a point-and-click adventure. The player basically moves around areas, using items and selecting things to progress. They will also have conversations with other characters and perform actions that can potentially change the outcome of the game’s plot, such as which characters survive. It has been stated that the game will feature “big battles” but they will be done in a way that still feels like a Telltale Games title (meaning it will likely involve the player making quick inputs similar to quick time events in other games).
