A Nation without borders is a nation without cause: Obama's illegal immigration

As tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors pour across our southern border, the fundamental truth of “A nation without borders is a nation without cause” is being trampled by the political left’s “accept them one, accept them all”.

I present you this week with 3 “checks” to consider as the spin reaches super-sonic speed over the coming months.

Reality check:

When Big Business and Big Government combine behind a single issue it is:

A. Always a good thing because we all know that corporations and bureaucrats have nothing but our best interests at heart. – or – B. Time to buy stock in Johnson and Johnson as the pain coming to millions of Americans is going to require massive amounts of KY Jelly.

History check:

What sitting American politician said: “If making it easy to be an illegal alien wasn’t enough, how about offering a reward for being an illegal immigrant? No sane country would do that. Right? Guess again! If you break our laws by entering this country without permission and give birth to a child, we reward that child with US citizenship.”

And in 1993 introduced: “A bill to curb criminal activity by aliens, to defend against acts of international terrorism, to protect American workers from unfair labor competition, and to relieve pressure on public services by strengthening border security and stabilizing immigration into the United States.”

The quotes above come not from some right wing, “Faux News” nut job as the left ascribes such common sense views today, but rather the one, the only, the “I’ve never met a Koch brother I couldn’t slur”, Harry M. Reid, current majority leader of the United States Senate.

Illustrating just how far the Democrat party has shifted to the left since the Bill Clinton days, that same Harry Reid, in danger of losing his Senate seat in 2010 due to a large Hispanic influx, did a perfectly pandering flip flop by stating that Republicans proposing the very same thing that year had “either taken leave of their senses or their principles”.

Does it pass the smell test check:

President Obama has publicly denied that his flaunting of current immigration law and refusal to secure our southern border had anything to do with the tens of thousands of Central American children currently pouring across our southern border. That he is as surprised as anyone.

So why then, did Mr. Obama’s own Department of Homeland Security put out a solicitation on January 29th of this year for “Escort Services for Unaccompanied Alien Children” stating that:

“Transport will be required for either category of [Unaccompanied Minors] or individual juveniles, to include both male and female juveniles. There will be approximately 65,000 UAC in total…Escort services include, but are not limited to, assisting with: transferring physical custody of UAC [Unaccompanied Alien Children] from DHS to Health and Human Services (HHS) care via ground or air methods of transportation (charter or commercial carrier).”

That the Obama administration didn’t know these children were coming requires a separation from reality reserved only for the most insane of the insane. Look up the radical 60’s “Cloward-Piven strategy”, these children are but pawns in a very sick game to overload the system and achieve illegally what could not be accomplished lawfully within our Constitutional structure.

All the compassion in the world will not save those children if America as founded destroys herself in the process.

The choice is simple: America as a nation or Obama’s cause. His “fundamental transformation” does not allow for both.

And that should come as no surprise to anyone.
