A day is always made better when we are in conversation with Our Creator.
Often times people may believe that God has little to no time for their prayers or that they're unworthy to call upon Him. As humans, we are unworthy of God's mercy and grace. Thankfully, He loves us so much that He can look past our sin (when asking for forgiveness) and wishes that we seek Him in everything.
Prayer is a powerful tool.
"And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him." John 5:14-15
"Dear God,
Please forgive me of my many sins and mistakes
I know Jesus died for me on that rugged stake.
Help me have patience and hold my tongue,
because my words have once stung.
Help me to be happy for others and be sincere,
help me to love those that I hold dear.
Mold me to be your useful tool,
tear me away from my former fool.Make me the mother I really need to be,
keep my heart open so I may see.
Hold back a hasty, angry swat,
even if he is being a testy tot.
Show me the way I should go,
when life gets hectic and I hit a low.
Keep me grounded and always humble,
prevent me from making others stumble.Keep Your Word in my heart and mind,
to keep me on your straight and righteous line.
Help make me be the wife my husband desperately needs,
so he can be the man of the house who leads.
Keep my hands busy making my time fruitful for You,
allowing my life to show Christ's love shine through.Thank you God for our health, family and friends,
keep them safe within Your hands.
I was broken yet You saved me,
healing the cracks and crevices from all who may see.Thank You, thank You my Savior of it all,
for taking the time to love someone so meek and small.
In Your Son's precious name I pray,
bringing my thankfulness everyday.Amen"
