A mile long at Alpine Meadows

Alpine Meadows has something for you terrain park fans. It's a mile long.

Jenny Kendrick, PR Director at Alpine Meadows, in a press release today announced the opening of a mile long terrain park. They call it the Firing Line.

The Firing Line has 40 features for skiers and boarders to take on. It's an intermediate to advanced park that has an ongoing layout of jumps, jibs, wall rides, hips and other park features.

How about a large S-rail, canon tube, wrecking ball, hitching post, oil drum, and a some too cool rails and boxes?

Designed by Jonahs David, manager of Alpine's Terrain Parks, and Corley Howard, Snow Park Tech Project Manager, this addition to the terrain park collection at Alpine brings more than 80 total features for the park crowd.

From Pat Moore, Squaw and Alpine team rider: "I'm excited to have a lengthy park to get long, fun runs with my friends. Having a mile-long park means more opportunities to learn tricks and less time on the chairlift."

Alpine continues to stay at the sharp end of the innovation spear when it comes to improving the skier and boarder experience.

Put on the gear, get the helmet cams going, and pick your line, a mile of it, and sweetly push off into terrain park heaven.
