A Mild But Wet Tuesday....

If you had to work indoors all day long and away from windows, YOU MISSED OUT ON AN AWESOME DAY! We reached a high of 57 at Philly International this afternoon after a seasonable low of 28; it was a day that started off sunny and then some high clouds moved in the late afternoon(no big deal). The clouds are ahead of our next system to provide rain overnight and into the day Tuesday.

Tuesday itself will be cloudy with on-and-off rain throughout the afternoon(just amounting to between 0.25-0.50) with heavier amounts the further east you go. Despite the showers highs will be in the lower 50s. Behind the system it's still around 50 on Wednesday with sunshine giving to late afternoon clouds ahead of a clipper system overnight into Thursday; now this system is interesting as it will transfer its energy to a new low just off of the Jersey Shore with lows in the middle 30s and highs in the lower 40s. this will lead to a snow/rain mix at the start changing over quickly to rain by midday Thursday(well north and west can see an inch or two of snow out of this).

Friday will be tranquil and seasonable with highs in the lower 40s, but then ANOTHER system comes through on Saturday(a cold front) with temperatures starting off in the upper 40s and then falling through the afternoon with rain changing over to some snow showers by nightfall.

So do you see a trend here? It's stormy, but at-to-above average....UNTIL next Sunday when highs are just in the 30s. I don't want to mention the ENTIRE seven-day! You'll just have to view it for yourself (any time) at www.scottderekwx.com/forecast.html.
