The Courier reported that Donald Eugene Miller Jr. is still legally dead. Although Miller physically appeared alive and well, Judge Allan Davis told Miller that he is still dead. After Miller vanished from his rental home in 1994, he was eventually declared dead. Miller told the court he was an alcoholic and didn’t know what to do after losing his job.
Miller is trying to get the 1994 decision reversed to get his Social Security number and driver’s license reinstated. Both were cancelled after a court ruled Miller legally dead. Robin Miller, Miller’s ex-wife, asked a court to have him declared legally dead so her two children could receive Social Security death benefits. Miller also owed roughly $26,000 in back child support when he vanished.
Robin Miller now has an issue with her ex-husband’s miraculous resurrection. She is concerned about repaying her children’s Social Security benefits.
Judge Davis told Miller: "I don't know where that leaves you, but you're still deceased as far as the law is concerned."
