Twelve years ago today, a look back and remembering those that lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks.
If we sit, reflect and think back. The memory is like the lense of a camera, when turned, the picture becomes fully focused.
Examiners story: It was September 11, 2001. She worked for a coffee company, a General Manager on Disney property. A normal workday, weekly meeting. The area Manager was on the computer viewing the news, when all of a sudden she began to scream, calling out for the employees.
This examiner watched in horror, as the first and second plane hit the World Trade Center in New York.
Later, the Pentagon and the plane crash in Pennsylvania.
We were under attack!
The memory of chaos, confusion still embedded in this examiners memory. Employees were instructed to direct park visitors to guest relations. It was difficult maintaining composure and professionalism, while it was happening.
Our lives were forever altered. Our memories fixed not to forget where we were on that tragic day.
