While many among us have to wait until Feb. 10, when Prabal Gurung’s love-inspired collection for Target hits the stores, there were a few who got to attend the launch party in New York, reports Instyle on Feb. 7.
Celebrities like Carey Mulligan, Elizabeth Olsen, Rashida Jones and Olivia Thirlby were all seen spotting the designer’s vibrant LOVE collection at the Pier 57 in New York City.
While many raved about the bold prints and the gorgeous patterns and prints, Olivia Thirlby who is face of the collection's campaign told Instyle, “I love the way he is inspired to take art and turn it into something you can wear on your body.”
Rashida Jones was seen wearing a ruffled blue blouse from the collection which will retail at $34.99, with black zipper-accented jeans and black peep-toes. Also seen was Olsen who donned a short-sleeved blue-and-coral dress with a black bow-accentuated waistband, which will retail at just $39.99. Olivia Thirlby wore a spring like floral dress to the launch party.
Along with the celebs who strutted in the breathtaking clothes, R&B singer Ne-Yo also attended the event and performed his hit songs and a song off his new album R.E.D.
With prices ranging from $12.99 to $199.99, and most pieces priced below $50, the collection is affordable for the everyday fashionista aiming for some designer love.
