Valentine's Day is upon us again, a time when we think of giving flowers to our best girls, our girlfriends, our wives, and our mothers. Giving the ladies in our lives flowers on Valentine's Day is an age old tradition but this year you can honor it and help the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society help animals in need at the same time. This year, area florists, J. H. Kenny's Flowers and Laurel's Flora's are donating 10 percent of every order made between February 6th through the 14th to the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane society.

J. H. Kenney Flowers, Inc. is a private company located at 736 3rd Ave, Watervliet, NY has served the Capital District Region faithfully for 44 years since 1965. According to Dawn M. of Saratoga Springs, New York, an Insider Expert, "Kennys JH flowers make beautiful arrangements. Tehy are located on the mail road of Watervliet. Parking is sometimes difficult. They ship anywhere through FTD. They also do local deliveries. Their flowers last for a long time. The prices are higher priced then some florist. They even sell balloons to go with your arrangements or you can buy them separate."

J. H. Kenney Flowers doesn't have a web presence but you can reach them by phone at (518) 273-0972 to place an order from the comfort of your home or office. Call and place your order today and tell them that "I want to support MHRHS." That's all it takes to have them donate 10 percent of your order, excluding sales tax and delivery charges to the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society. I just ordered a huge bouquet to be sent to my Valentine, my wife, who just had open-heart surgery and is recovering in the hospital. Won't you join me in helping our needy animals this Valentine's Day by supporting a local florist who cares about the needs of our furry, four-legged companions in search of care and in search of a good home?
