I love hearing inspirational stories of people doing what they love. Recently the story of Helene Cornell was brought to my attention. Helene’s talent for design and re-purposing has re-invented the travel trailer, or bubble as she calls it. The small yet chic and cozy spaces created by Helene as an Airbus BNB (Bed and Breakfast) had me wanting to run out and find an old airbus to park in my driveway and rent to happy travelers. I felt inspired by her story and my creative juices definitely began to flow. Living in a small house I am often at a loss as to what to do with overnight guests. Since my artwork and supplies have taken over the guest room an air mattress in the living room is how I usually fix the problem but Helene has inspired me to re think my guest room. Perhaps a guest room on wheels, made up with a fresh new interior and comfortable bed would provide more comfort and privacy for my guests. I am reminded that for every problem there is a solution, sometimes we just have to think outside the box to come up with the perfect answer. Thank you Helene for being an inspiration and reminding me that a little passion and creativity goes a long way.
