A little (McCartney tour) clue for you all

Brian Ray put up this interesting note on his Facebook page Tuesday. It ready "We just wrapped up day 2 of rehearsals here, the singer is in good form, as per usual w/some cool surprises on the Up and Coming Tour.. stay tuned, ok?"

Wonder if "the singer" has heard your suggestions for songs to add to their live shows?

It would be nice if ''the Singer'' dropped every song that he has done since the 89-90 tour. Enough already with ''Hey Jude, Jet, Live and Let Die, Sgt. Pepper, Let It Be and The Long and Winding Road'' These have been performed so many times for so long that they are old and tired.

I would love for ''the singer'' to play 'She Loves You'', ''What you're doing'' and lots more early Beatles that have not been done in 45+ years or ever done live. And enough already with the Lenon tribute ''Here Today'' if he wants to do a tribute for John how about doing ''Rain or Revolution''!!!

For George drop 'Something'' and do ''Taxman or Here Comes the Sun or even If I Needed Someone''.

Tickets are way overpriced as it is and to than continue and do the same songs over and over has become boring.

Drake, He can't drop Hey Jude, Live and Let Die, or Let it Be. That'd be like the Pope dropping the Our Father and the Lamb of God prayers.

But I wouldn't mind him dropping Long and Winding Road and Eleanor Rigby, and definitely adding What You're Doing, Things We Said Today, and, well ... I could go on.

But realistically, people going to his concerts want to hear certain favorites, and lots of those people have never been to a Paul concert so this is new to them.

I have been to many of his concerts and I would love to hear him do many songs he hasn't yet. There are the first timers though and they want to hear the songs. One guy I recently sat next to said he wanted to hear Yesterday. I have heard it tons of times and would not miss it, but to him it meant the world. The problem is that Paul has too many songs (big problem:)). He could actually do two separate sets of shows. One - the "Hey Jude spoken here tour", the other - the "No Hey Jude spoken here tour".
I personally think he is worth every penny and I have yet to met anyone who leaves his shows disappointed. It will be a sad day when he stops touring.

Why all the comments about Paul adding MORE BEATLES. I for one would love a NO BEATLES SPOKEN HERE TOUR. If you ask me, 76 was the best tour he did here in the US. 5 Beatle songs and the rest were his own. How about adding London Town or Helen Wheels? Why is it always Beatles?
I want more Wings and solo Paul. Ain't nothing wrong with Stranglehold. How about a shocker and he did Press???

I would like for Paul to something like the Stones did a few years ago. They would hit a city and play in either 2 or 3 different venues, Stadium, Arena and Club/Theatre. Paul can play his big stadium or arena show and than do the theatre thing and ONLY play Wings/Solo stuff.

I'd better do a good playlist of solo songs for my ipod and keep wondering

Get real Dave, you cannot ever take the Beatle out of Paul; do I think he needs to vary his set list? Sure. But the general public and the press would crucify him if he did not do Beatles on a tour.

I have been very fortunate and have seen Paul five times. I certainly enjoyed every show very much, but every show is exactly the same. Save for a couple of song change ups.
I am happy to let someone else have my seat.
