Actor and producer, Tabitha Russell is co-creator of the new mobile/ web series, “Chirp”. It offers a new twist on the episodic 1-hour television drama format and centers around the world of social media, examining how it affects peoples’ lives.

The show explores various domestic and international topics, using the lives of four main characters—an actress, politician, college student-contemporary activist and a fanatic social media guru—whose lives tread between admiration and addiction when it comes to socializing on the web. Their digital and real-life soon intertwine, affecting the lives of the people around them.

This show concept gives a whole new meaning to "Big brother" and "life in the fish bowl", where everyone and everything can have global impact or its "15 min of fame" because of the power of the internet and social media. The show uses a strong ensemble cast with recurring supporting characters, to help give various perspectives.
“Chirp” the web series, will offer exclusive digital downloads on both the mobile app as well as the website. It will also offer the audience a chance to interact with the plots, the characters and cast/crew with leveraging technology in new ways.
